A painting made with acrylic paint and collage on canvas.

A slight departure from my normal paintings in that I have introduced a human character, and used collage as a medium; I created the seagull using charcoal and pastels, and the girl on the bike is pencil and pastels.

It’s a light hearted piece incorporating my favourite things - seagulls, the colour pink, and bikes. I drew the girl on the bike a long time ago, and whilst so many other sketches end up in the bin, she stayed with me for a number of years before I decided I needed to use her in a painting. so here she is!

  • I sign the canvas on the front, at the bottom.

  • The cost of delivery is not included with this painting. I will give you a quote for delivery prior to purchase on request.

  • My paintings are either sent on the stretcher (as seen in the photo) and packaged between sheets of plywood, or taken off the stretcher and rolled into a tube. Either option will be with a tracked courier, and insured to the value of the artwork. I am able to ship all artworks worldwide. Artworks are dispatched within 10 days of purchase and I will update you with relevant delivery dates as much as possible

  • I am more than happy to welcome you for a studio visit. My studio is 5 miles from Oxford, UK.
